Reflection of Life

As I sit here looking around me,
some thoughts come into my mind,
reflection of what I've seen and heard,
although not all things seem to be what they are,
nevertheless they are of value in one way or another,
as life is made up of many different things,
both the pleasant and not-so pleasant.

Everywhere I go I learn some facts about people,
or rather how they view life and its meaning,
most people seek only what
they consider as important,
money, material possessions,
power and personal interests,
but these things even we attained,
do not necessarily bring happiness in themselves,
they are like fogs shrouding the sight.

I have seen plenty of lonely faces
and heard enough of self-pity,
from those who seem to have everything,
this makes me really sure that
there are certain things,
that simply cannot be bought with money,
people who are poor and have very little to show,
tend to be happier with their lives,
they even laugh better than
the more fortunate in life.

Whether we are rich or poor,
physically strong or weak,
famous or quite unknown,
in our hearts we all know
what makes us truly happy,
it is knowing that they are
those who love and care about us,
so even in times of trouble
if we have family and friends,
the pain will not be so crushing,
nor living our lives seem too hard.

Life can either be exciting
or boring or just ordinary,
it depends on the individual,
I realise this as I ponder and reflect,
I think that no matter what conditions we are in,
we must try to be more positive
and count our blessings,
instead of complaining of the misfortunes we have,
if we really try then we can honestly
thank God for everything.

Little Games

Although nobody can say for sure
that we have lived many times over,
maybe there's a pinch of truth in the story,
and maybe I've known some of you,
from the past lifetimes, who knows?
A silly thought comes to mind,
tickling my imagination,
this world is a big screen and we are the actors,
each of us is given a role to play.

Let's just say that God
is the ultimate writer and film producer,
creating histories and destinies for us,
in subtle and mysterious ways,
He directs our lives,
but then my friends,
do we always follow the script?
No! why? b'coz we are free to make alteration,
an intelligence to make us proud.

Unaware of being observed,
we continue to play our little game,
at times with no purpose or real meaning in sight.
I've been told that the soul is immortal
and I believe its true
but why is the body so fragile?
The moment that we're born
is the moment we start dying,
its one of the ironies of life which puzzles me most.

Maybe that's why some people
embrace the concept of reincarnation,
in the hope that if they make mistakes
or fail in this life,
they will be given another chance.
Well to each his own, my friends,
whatever question that we may have
concerning our sojourn on earth,
nobody knows everything except Him.

28th May 2009

Today is de 7th day I left Miri back to my Home... cant attend classes for de Last week, Sobz!! was back here for my beloved Grandpa... Im sure God needs you more than us and He loves you more but We Love You Too!! :'(

I miss those times U used to wake me out of a sudden when Im asleep,

spending time with UR grandchildren splashing water at the swim pool,

calling their names loudly whenever U see them,

as they always complain U speak too loud at times,

but when silent speaks, it trully reminds US of U.

I miss those times U used to play with US,

the excitement begins when U slamed our tiny Bball ring with a Real huge Bball,

U were so strong and tough as U exercise every single day except Sun,

when the time comes U had to leave,

U left us silents and speaks from U never exist again.

p/s: will always remember U,
